Scriptures About Abandonment
Comentary:
We have all felt abandoned by someone at some time in our lives. However, some have had to deal with this much more than others and it breaks my heart to see it. No matter what the case is, being abandoned hurts. Not only does it hurt because someone gave up on us, but it hurts because we wonder "why?!". Why would you abandon me? Why would you look at me and say "oh the problems are just not worth it?" The answer is that many people when faced with trials simply give up. They give in to the temptation to look out for number one. The bible says that those who seek to save their own lives will lose it while those who are willing to give up their lives for the sake of the gospel will gain eternal life with God. Jesus Christ will never give up. God will never forsake your love. People in the world most all have what is called conditional love. They love you so long as what you are doing pleases them. Once you cross them they do not love anymore. But Gods love endures forever. As the Israelites fled out of Egypt God showed them love through countless miracles and blessings. Over and over again the children of Israel would murmur against Moses and God. Every time things got tough or the people were unsure, instead of praying to god for answers, they would curse and murmur against Him. He would get very angry but his anger would quickly pass as he realized that they were but frightened little children. God loved them for thousands of years even to the point of coming to earth through Jesus to allow his children to spit on him, scourge him, beat him and nail him to a tree because he loved them so much. To this day he continues to call to us and beckon us to come to him and receive the promise. All we have to do is accept the love of God and do his will to be happy in a place where we will never be abandoned ever again… He understands, He forgives, He loves eternal and forever… Grace and peace to you all in the Lord Jesus Christ.
