Ever been in the position to win a fist fight and just couldn't do it? Ever been in the position to win a legal battle and let yourself lose? Ever walked away from a fight only to wake up on the ground? Weakness is not always for the weak. At times it takes a lot of courage to be weak. Ever knew exactly what to say to drive your point home and just let it go instead? We have a natural aversion to doing these things. But, I guess that is the point we are to put away the natural aversions and take up our crosses, trees, or stakes, whatever you prefer. I don't know about you but I find it hard to let someone spit in my face. And yet I have had it done without getting retribution. First because of the gag reflex that comes from being totally grossed out...but later because it’s not worth perpetuating. I find that the closer I get to God the weepier with joy I become ... Is that weakness? I dont know for sure but I know it cleans me out when I do, and makes the spirit within me feel good, hapy and full of joy that I want to spread to others. Then I get real tired and need some sleep. But, I think being weak is a way of being submissive to the will of God. A lot of people tell me that I ought to be willing to kill someone who is out to kill me (as in war). But, I truly believe that if my faith is strong enough I will never have to spill the blood of a brother or sister. If that person wants to kill me I will let God either fight them for me or take me home. I don't ever see me killing anyone for any reason. I guess that is weakness or cowardess Im not sure. I guess I am just a dumb old hippie at heart... I just want to love and be loved... Have a great weekend everyone and try to stay soft hearted... watch an emotional movie and let yourself cry ... I recommend "The Letter Writer" .. :)
